Privacy policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
This policy explains how CuroNote handles your information during our current pre-launch phase, when the site offers informational content and lets you reserve a note. We do not yet issue notes, provide medical care, or take payment, and no clinician reviews your reservation — but a reservation does include some details about why you want a note.
What we collect
- Reservation details: the reason you need a note, a short indication of how you're doing, the dates you need, your name, your state, any optional notes you add, and your email address.
- Notify-me details: if you're outside our launch states, just your email and (optionally) your state.
- Basic, privacy-friendly analytics: aggregate, cookieless usage data (e.g. page views) that does not identify you personally.
How we use it
We use your reservation to gauge demand, prioritize which states to open next, and contact you when a doctor licensed in your state can review your request. We use your email to confirm your subscription and send launch and coverage updates. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their marketing.
Where it's stored
Reservation records are stored in our database (Cloudflare), protected in transit and at rest. Our email provider receives only your email address and your state so we can confirm your address and tell you when we launch; it never receives your reason, how you're feeling, your dates, or your notes. We retain reservation records until you ask us to delete them, and in any case we'll delete pre-launch reservation details within 12 months if we don't launch in your state.
Consumer health data
Some reservation details (the reason you need a note, how you're doing, the dates, and anything you add in the optional notes) may be "consumer health data" under laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act. For that information:
- What we collect: only the reservation details listed above, which you provide directly in our form.
- Why: to hold your reservation, understand demand by state and reason, and contact you at launch. Nothing else.
- Consent: we collect it only after you tick a separate consent box, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
- Sharing: we don't sell it and don't share it with advertising, analytics, or email tools. It's processed only by our hosting and database provider on our behalf. Our email provider knows only your email address, your state, and that you made a reservation.
- Your rights: you can ask to see it, confirm whether we have it, get a list of anyone it was shared with, or have it deleted, by emailing hello@curonote.com. We'll respond within 45 days.

Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We'll update this page as our services evolve — including a full Notice of Privacy Practices before any clinician reviews your information or we handle protected health information at launch.
